ðŸ“Ģ HUSO-PSU Students Interview for Yasuda Scholarship, Gaining Opportunities to Study in Japan

The Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prince of Songkla University, warmly welcomed representatives from the Yasuda Scholarship Foundation on Monday, January 27, 2568 (2025). The delegation was led by Mr. Hiroshi Tsukiizumi, Executive Director and Selection Committee Member, along with Mr. Tetsuro Baba and Mr. Yoichi Sato, both Selection Committee Members. The visit took place at Mayom Room, 2nd Floor, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Building, Pattani Campus, with the purpose of conducting scholarship interviews for undergraduate and graduate students.

A total of five students applied for this prestigious scholarship and participated in the interview process.

The Yasuda Scholarship Foundation, established by Mr. Takao Yasuda, founder of the well-known Japanese retail chain Don Quijote (Donki), aims to support Thai students in pursuing higher education in Japan at the undergraduate or graduate level. The scholarship particularly targets students majoring in Japanese language studies, whether they are currently enrolled, alumni seeking further education, or those already accepted as research students at Japanese universities.

This fully funded scholarship provides a monthly living allowance of 100,000 yen to recipients during their studies in Japan, further enhancing educational and cultural exchange between Thailand and Japan.
