Philosophy of the Program
The Bachelor of Arts Program in Korean Language focuses on both theoretical knowledge and practical application. The program aims to produce graduates who embody the core attributes of Prince of Songkla University — “I-WiSe”: Integrity, Wisdom, and Social Responsibility.
Graduates will possess strong proficiency in the Korean language and be able to communicate effectively within diverse cultural contexts. They will also develop skills in applying Korean language knowledge to various professional fields. The program emphasizes 21st-century skills, including learning skills, information, media, and technology literacy, as well as life and career skills. Furthermore, graduates are expected to uphold strong moral and ethical values in both their personal and professional lives.

What Will You Study?
Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus, is proud to be the first institution in Thailand to offer Korean language studies. By joining our program, students will have the opportunity to develop their Korean language skills from beginner to advanced levels.
Students will receive instruction from both experienced Thai instructors and native Korean teachers, allowing them to practice and refine their language abilities with expert guidance.
Beyond language learning, students will gain firsthand cultural experiences through engaging, hands-on activities such as making kimchi, learning traditional Korean tea ceremonies, and trying on the Hanbok (traditional Korean attire). These immersive experiences enrich their understanding of Korean culture in practical and memorable ways.
