Philosophy of the Program

The program aims to produce graduates who excel in economics and entrepreneurship, serving as key contributors to the nation’s economic development.” Therefore, graduates of the program must be able to apply their knowledge of economics and entrepreneurship to understand both macroeconomic and microeconomic structural issues, considering the dynamics of global economic and social changes. They should be able to analyze the impacts of these changes on business decisions and economic development at the national, regional, and local levels, ensuring appropriate responses.

Graduates will possess the skills of 21st-century citizens, ready to become economists with entrepreneurial skills, grounded in moral and ethical values, to contribute to the development of the economy at both local and national levels.

Economics is the study of analyzing economic data for decision-making, covering consumption, production, management, and entrepreneurship to maximize benefits. For example, should you buy goods with cash or through installment payments? What will the future prices of rubber, agricultural products, or goods be? What are the trends in the Thai and global economies? The field of economics will help you think systematically and apply this knowledge to personal, organizational, industrial, local, national, and global levels.
