Philosophy of the Program
Social Work as a Profession is both a science and an art in working with individuals, families, groups, communities, organizations, and societies that are diverse in ethnicity and culture. It is based on principles of accepting different identities, respecting human dignity and value, reducing inequality, promoting social justice, and protecting rights and welfare. The profession is committed to public service and social responsibility, helping individuals to live happily and adapt well to changing circumstances.
The learning process involves problem-solving and research, with both in-class and practical fieldwork experiences. This process fosters a sense of responsibility, contributing to sustainable social development in communities. Additionally, students will acquire information technology skills to enhance learning and adapt to the demands of the 21st century.

What Will You Study?
The program emphasizes the understanding of one’s rights as a human being, fostering respect for human dignity and the value of humanity. It focuses on defending and advocating for justice for those whose rights have been violated, as well as providing support, rehabilitation, and counseling. Students will also learn how to provide social welfare services and gain a deep understanding of social and political structures to address the issues that individuals face in society.
This approach is rooted in the philosophy of “helping others so they can help themselves.” It prepares students to become the hope, strength, and faith of society, enabling them to provide appropriate support and assistance to those in need.
