Philosophy of the Program
To produce graduates with knowledge in social and cultural studies, equipped with skills in critical thinking, analysis, synthesis, and critique of social and cultural phenomena. Graduates will also be capable of conducting research on social and cultural issues using social science research methodologies.
Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)
Be responsible for one's own duties and those of others.
Perform professional duties with responsibility, guided by moral and ethical principles. Demonstrate a sense of public-mindedness without discrimination, embracing social and cultural diversity. Uphold morality, ethics, and respect for human rights and dignity, placing the well-being of others as a foremost priority.
Apply foundational knowledge in the fields of sociology and anthropology.
Apply and integrate knowledge of sociology and anthropology through research processes to propose solutions for complex socio-cultural issues. Utilize criminological and justice system knowledge in the rehabilitation and reintegration of offenders. Apply demographic, medical, and global health knowledge in health promotion efforts to enhance overall quality of life.

Program Overview
Sociology and Anthropology are academic disciplines that explore all social phenomena to uncover the underlying causes and backgrounds of various events, as well as their impacts on society. These fields also study human beings in all aspects, tracing human development from the past to the present. Students will learn about beliefs, values, customs, traditions, and arts and cultures that influence thought systems and human behavior throughout different periods of time. This comprehensive understanding helps to analyze current social issues and propose recommendations for positive social development.
