The Bachelor of Arts Program in English, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prince of Songkla University, has successfully completed the full three-day 511th AUN-QA Programme Assessment. The international assessment panel presented their preliminary findings before the official closing ceremony on 9 April 2026.
The final day of the 511th AUN-QA Programme Assessment for the Bachelor of Arts Program in English, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prince of Songkla University, took place on Thursday, 9 April 2026. The international assessment panel delivered the Presentation of Preliminary Findings at the Auditorium, 1st Floor, Medical Research, Innovation and Technology Transfer Building, Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus, and simultaneously via online platform, before the assessment was formally concluded with a closing ceremony held on the morning of the same day.
At the closing ceremony, the assessment panel — led by Dr. Wan Ahmad Kamil PhD, FASc, FMIC from Universiti Sains Malaysia as Lead Assessor, and Prof. Dr. Nina M. Cadiz from the University of the Philippines Los Baños as Assessor — presented their summary and preliminary findings to the SAR team and relevant administrators. A representative from the AUN-QA Secretariat also delivered closing remarks. Asst. Prof. Dr. Saranlita Chotirat, Associate Dean for Digital Ecosystem and Quality Systems, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prince of Songkla University, together with faculty members of the Bachelor of Arts Program in English, attended the session to receive the assessment results.
Throughout the three-day assessment, the SAR team of the Bachelor of Arts Program in English, led by Ajarn Kanya Pornwasanyying, Program Chair and SAR Team Leader, successfully completed all components of the assessment process — including meetings with administrators, faculty members, students, alumni, and employers, as well as on-site visits at both the university and faculty levels — reflecting the program’s readiness and quality across all dimensions.
The successful completion of this full three-day international AUN-QA assessment marks a significant milestone for the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prince of Songkla University, in affirming its educational quality standards on the ASEAN regional stage. It stands as a testament to the Faculty’s unwavering commitment to continuous curriculum development, producing graduates of the highest quality who are confidently prepared to thrive in the global arena.
