Doctor of Philosophy Program in Thai Language
aims to produce graduates based on an educational approach that focuses on developmental strategies to cultivate graduates with the abilities and characteristics of:
“Advanced academic excellence, creation of research innovation, generation of new knowledge in language and literature, leading communities, and adapting to become a foundation for the national and local economy.”
The learning process employs a learner-centered approach, enabling learners to fully express their individual potential, which positively contributes to the development of specific skills and expertise, as well as fostering educational success and well-being.

Graduates will have expertise in creating bodies of knowledge in language, literature, and folklore, integrated with the local context of the southern region. They will have the capacity to critically evaluate knowledge in the context of a changing society, continuously develop themselves, listen to others while maintaining their standpoint with discernment and fairness, possess systematic thinking and appropriate tools, and be able to transfer knowledge collaboratively to society and communities.
