Philosophy of the Program
The Bachelor of Arts Program in Thai Language and Literature is designed to produce graduates in accordance with the educational philosophy of Prince of Songkla University, based on the principle of developmentalism. The program emphasizes lifelong learning skills and employs an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach.
Learning is structured around diverse active learning methods, with a focus on project-based learning and service learning. The program is guided by the royal aspiration of His Royal Highness Prince Mahidol of Songkla: “Let the benefit of mankind be the highest goal.”
The curriculum aims to develop graduates with the following qualities:
“Proficient in language, appreciative of literature, supportive of local communities, and adaptable to change.”
